Si terrà in ottobre a Rabat il 4° Congresso Mondiale dei Leaders dei Governi Locali e Regionali. Il Congresso è promosso dalla associazione Città e Governi Locali Uniti (UCLG United Cities and Local Governments) l'unica Associazione Mondiale di Leaders dei Governi Locali e Regionali presieduta dal Sindaco di Istanbul.

4th World Congress in Rabat 2013 – Imagine Society, Build Democracy

´Imagine Society, Build Democracy´ is the title of the 4th UCLG World Congress - World Summit of Local and Regional Leaders, to be held next October in Rabat, Morocco. The priority topics at this meeting include access to basic services, local governance, building diverse societies, gender equality in the political, economic and social contexts and strengthening culture in society. Through the on-going dialogue between participants, local and regional authorities and organisations from civil society, the summit represents an opportunity to influence the main discussion topics at world level (Millennium Development Goals - Post 2015 and preparation for Habitat III). To achieve this dialogue, UCLG has launched the ´Rabat 2013´ Platform, a tool conceived as a space for discussion and exchange where the main events at the Congress, including debates, interviews and activities, can be followed first-hand.
